On Wednesday 8th November Year 3/4 at Le Rondin were given the fantastic opportunity to visit the Renoir exhibition at Candie Gardens Museum!
The cultural experience, led by Lucy Brimage from the Guernsey Arts Commission, gave the children the opportunity to visit one of the most high profile and ambitious events staged at the Guernsey museum in recent years.
The children were treated to a tour of the famous paintings, based on his stay in the islands 140 years ago, as well as a drawing session based around Renoir’s art. In addition, the children got to spend some time in the discovery room, dressing up and posing as famous artists and exploring relics and artefacts from time gone by.
